Eruptions in the South Pacific have brought forth remnants of the ancient continent of Lemuria and with it, reports of a lost, pre-human advanced civilization. Misty, a college dropout, is fascinated and disturbed by the images (many restricted) she has seen of sexual discipline, domination, and humiliation in frescos and murals and artifacts. She has applied for a position as an "assistant girl" to accompany a mission into a newly discovered find. In order to operate effectively in these environments, the teams have discovered they need to emulate Lemurian society as best they can: meaning submissives are expected to be treated as slaves to the more dominant members of the expedition.

Nathan is a young soldier, he's been guarded about his proclivities as a sexual submissive--but now, having been attached to the expeditionary team he realizes they are aware of his leanings and he will be joining the volunteer slave-girls at the bottom of the social ladder.
