Mark Lefebvre Joins Draft2Digital
D2D’s new Director of Business Development brings strong experience to the table
OKLAHOMA CITY, OK, October 03, 2018— Today Draft2Digital announces the addition of industry veteran Mark Leslie Lefebvre, formerly of Rakuten Kobo, as the company’s Director of Business Development. The hiring of Lefebvre is a bid by D2D to improve and expand upon its position as the industry’s leading distributor of independently published books.
Lefebvre has long been a part of bookselling and the book industry, throughout its evolution from brick and mortar operations and into online and digital venues. He has been at the forefront of online bookselling, bringing print on demand into physical retail spaces and helping to usher in the eBook and indie-publishing boom.
Lefebvre is a former President of the Canadian Booksellers Association, Board Member of BookNet Canada, and member of the Professional Advisory Council for Sheridan College School of Creative Writing and Publishing. He was also the founding Director of Kobo Writing Life and is an active member of the Canadian Association of Professional Speakers.
