We know there’s a lot going on in the self-publishing world right now (I mean… D2D officially acquired Smashwords as of today!). But we just couldn’t let March 2022 slip by without noting that it marks the ten year anniversary of Draft2Digital’s founding!
In 2012, it started with an author and a dream. And that dream was “please make it easier to send my books to retailers!” And we’re not going to say things magically happened from there… but yeah. Magic!
And now, here we are, ten years later, still kicking, still running, and still making it easier for authors and publishers all over the planet to reach readers… well… all over the planet!
We can’t say we saw all of this coming. But we’re so excited to have been a part of this incredible and amazing industry, to help so many fantastic and talented authors, and to not only achieve those first modest and humble goals, but to really grow with the self-publishing world!
To help mark this special anniversary, some of the biggest influencers in the business dropped in to say hello and wish us a happy birthday!
